- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, chilled and cut into small pieces
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 tablespoons of all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup of lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon grated lemon peel
- 1/2 cup heavy cream

Instruction
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8″ x 8″ square baking pan.
- In a medium bowl, mix 1 1/2 cups flour and 1/2 cup powdered sugar. Cut in the cooled butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Press the mixture into the prepared baking tray.
- Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until light golden brown.
- In a separate mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, granulated sugar, 2 tablespoons of the flour, lemon juice, lemon zest, and heavy cream. Pour mix over the baked crust.
- Return to oven and bake for an additional 20-25 minutes, or until filling is cooked through and golden brown.
- We take it out of the oven and let it cool to room temperature.
- Sprinkle with powdered sugar before slicing and serving.
