Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup cottage cheese (well-drained)
  • 1 large egg or 2 egg whites (for binding)
  • 2–3 tbsp flour or starch (optional, for extra crispiness)
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • Seasonings of choice: garlic powder, paprika, herbs, cinnamon sugar, etc.

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) or air fryer to 320°F (160°C).
  • Blend cottage cheese until smooth.
  • Mix in egg (or egg whites), optional flour/starch, salt, pepper, and chosen seasonings.
  • Spread mixture thinly on parchment-lined baking sheet or in air fryer basket.
  • Bake 12–18 minutes (rotate halfway) or air-fry 8–12 minutes (shake basket halfway) until golden and crisp.
  • Cool completely on a wire rack to retain crunch.
  • Optional: sprinkle additional seasoning or toppings after cooking.
  • Serve alone, with dips, or as a salad/soup garnish.

Notes

  • Thin layers = crispy chips; thicker layers may remain soft.
  • Storage: Airtight container, 3–5 days at room temperature; longer in refrigerator.
  • Re-crisping: Place in 300°F (150°C) oven for 3–5 minutes or air fryer 1–2 minutes.
