Ingredients:

  • For the Crust:
    • 1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs
    • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
    • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • For the Filling:
    • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
    • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
    • 1 cup powdered sugar
    • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
    • 1 cup whipped topping (like Cool Whip)
  • For the Topping:
    • 1/2 cup whipped topping (for garnish)
    • Chocolate shavings or chocolate syrup (optional)
    • Chopped peanuts (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Make the Crust:
    • In a medium bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs, granulated sugar, and melted butter. Mix until well combined and crumbly.
    • Press the mixture firmly into the bottom and up the sides of a 9-inch pie dish. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 8-10 minutes or until lightly golden. Remove from the oven and let cool completely.
  2. Prepare the Filling:
    • In a large mixing bowl, beat together the peanut butter and softened cream cheese until smooth and well combined.
    • Gradually add in the powdered sugar and vanilla extract, mixing until smooth.
    • Gently fold in the whipped topping until fully incorporated.
  3. Assemble the Pie:
    • Pour the peanut butter filling into the cooled crust, smoothing the top with a spatula.
    • Refrigerate the pie for at least 4 hours, or overnight, to allow it to set.
  4. Serve:
    • Before serving, top with additional whipped topping, chocolate shavings, or chopped peanuts if desired. Slice and enjoy!

Tips:

  • Variations: For a chocolate twist, add melted chocolate to the filling or use a chocolate cookie crust instead of graham crackers.
  • Make Ahead: This pie can be made a day in advance and stored in the refrigerator until ready to serve.

Enjoy your indulgent Peanut Butter Pie!
