Chicken Alfredo Pizza Recipe

Chicken Alfredo Pizza

Creamy, cheesy, and loaded with flavor, Chicken Alfredo Pizza is the perfect fusion of Italian-American comfort food. This pizza swaps traditional tomato sauce for a rich, garlicky Alfredo base, topped with juicy chicken, gooey mozzarella, and a sprinkle of herbs. It’s indulgent, satisfying, and perfect for pizza night when you want something just a little different.

Ingredients:

For the Alfredo Sauce:

  • 2 tbsp butter

  • 2 garlic cloves, minced

  • 1 cup heavy cream

  • ¾ cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • Salt & pepper to taste

For the Pizza:

  • 1 ball pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)

  • 1 cup cooked chicken breast, shredded or cubed

  • 1½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese

  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • Optional: sliced red onion, spinach, or mushrooms

  • Olive oil, for brushing

  • Fresh parsley or basil, for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 475°F (245°C). If using a pizza stone, place it in the oven while it preheats.

  2. Make the Alfredo sauce:

    • In a small saucepan, melt butter over medium heat.

    • Add garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.

    • Stir in cream and bring to a simmer.

    • Whisk in Parmesan cheese until smooth. Season with salt and pepper. Remove from heat.

  3. Prepare the pizza dough:

    • Roll or stretch dough into a 12–14 inch circle on a floured surface.

    • Transfer to a pizza pan or parchment-lined baking sheet.

  4. Assemble the pizza:

    • Spread Alfredo sauce over the dough (about ½–¾ cup).

    • Top with chicken, mozzarella, Parmesan, and any optional toppings.

    • Lightly brush edges of the crust with olive oil.

  5. Bake:

    • Bake for 12–15 minutes or until the crust is golden and cheese is bubbly and slightly browned.

  6. Garnish and serve:

    • Sprinkle with fresh parsley or basil. Slice and serve hot.

Optional Add-Ons:

  • Crispy bacon bits for extra flavor

  • A pinch of crushed red pepper for heat

  • Drizzle with a little extra Alfredo sauce after baking
