Barrel cracker meatloaf


  • 2 eggs
  • 2/3 cup of milk
  • 32 Ritz biscuits, crushed
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 4 ounces of shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 1/2 lbs ground beef
  • 1/2 cup of ketchup
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon mustard


  1. Preheat oven to 350. Beat eggs. Add milk and biscuits. Stir in onions and cheese. Add minced meat.
  2. Mix well. Loaf shape. Bake at 350 for 45 minutes. Combine ketchup, brown sugar and mustard to make the topping.
  3. Pour half of the frosting over the meatloaf after 30 minutes of baking.
  4. Return the loaf to the oven for another 10 minutes of baking.
  5. Pour remaining frosting over meatloaf, return to oven, and bake for another 5-10 minutes.
