Equipment

  • 9x13-inch baking dish
  • Sharp knife
  • Mixing bowl
  • Pastry brush
  • Aluminum foil

Ingredients

Bread & Filling:

  • 1 package (12-count) Hawaiian rolls or dinner rolls
  • 6 slices salami
  • 6 slices pepperoni
  • 6 slices ham
  • 6 slices prosciutto (optional)
  • 8 slices provolone cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan

Butter Glaze:

  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • ½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1 tbsp chopped parsley

Instructions

  • Prepare Rolls: Slice rolls in half horizontally, keeping them connected as a sheet. Place bottoms in a baking dish.
  • Layer Meats & Cheese: Add salami, pepperoni, ham, and prosciutto evenly. Top with provolone, mozzarella, and Parmesan.
  • Top with Rolls: Place the roll tops back on.
  • Brush with Butter: Mix melted butter with garlic, Italian seasoning, red pepper flakes, and parsley. Brush generously over rolls.
  • Bake: Cover with foil and bake at 350°F (175°C) for 15 minutes. Remove foil and bake another 5 minutes until tops are golden.
  • Cool & Serve: Let sliders cool slightly before slicing into individual portions.

Notes

  • Bread Choice: Hawaiian rolls add sweetness; dinner rolls are neutral; ciabatta gives a rustic crunch.
  • Meat Tip: Layer evenly to avoid soggy or uneven sliders.
  • Butter Balance: Brush lightly—too much butter can make sliders greasy.
  • Make-Ahead: Assemble sliders, refrigerate, and bake just before serving.
  • Serving Idea: Pair with marinara sauce for dipping and garnish with fresh basil.
