Ingredients

  • 3 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs or panko (GF if needed)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil (optional, for extra crispiness)

Instructions
 

  • Press & Slice Tofu: Drain tofu, press for 20 minutes to remove moisture, then slice into tender-sized strips.
  • Make Glaze: Mix honey, mustard, garlic, paprika, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  • Marinate: Coat tofu strips in glaze and let sit for 10–15 minutes.
  • Dredge: Dip tofu into breadcrumbs or panko, pressing gently to adhere. For extra crunch, double-coat by repeating glaze + breadcrumb steps.
  • Bake or Air-Fry: Arrange on parchment-lined sheet or basket. Bake at 400°F (200°C) for 20–25 minutes, or air-fry at 375°F (190°C) for 15–18 minutes, until golden and crispy.
  • Finish: Toss lightly in extra glaze or serve with dipping sauces.
