Equipment

  • Mixing bowls
  • Baking sheet
  • Parchment paper or silicone mat
  • Grater (for cheese)
  • Spatula

Ingredients

For Cheese Crisps:

  • 2 cups finely shredded Parmesan or cheddar
  • Optional: ½ tsp paprika or garlic powder for flavor

For Spinach Dip:

  • 1 cup cream cheese (or sour cream/Greek yogurt)
  • 1 cup thawed and drained spinach (fresh or frozen)
  • ½ cup shredded mozzarella or cheddar
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Prepare Spinach Dip: Mix cream cheese, spinach, shredded cheese, garlic, salt, and pepper until smooth. Chill or warm as desired.
  • Make Cheese Crisps: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment. Place small mounds (1–2 tbsp) of shredded cheese on the sheet, spaced apart. Flatten slightly.
  • Bake: Bake for 8–10 minutes until golden and crisp. Let cool slightly on the sheet before removing.
  • Top with Dip: Spoon spinach dip onto each crisp. Garnish with herbs or chili flakes.
  • Serve: Arrange on a platter and enjoy immediately.
  • Tip: Use parchment paper for easy removal and cleaner presentation.

Notes

  • Drain spinach thoroughly to avoid watery dip.
  • Parmesan yields the crispiest base, while cheddar adds bold flavor.
  • Add-ins like jalapeños, feta, or olives can create fun variations.
  • Best served fresh—store briefly in the fridge, but avoid freezing.
  • Reheat in the oven to restore crispiness.
