Equipment

  • 9×9 inch or 9×13 inch baking pan
  • Mixing bowls
  • Whisk or electric mixer
  • Silicone spatula
  • Measuring Cups and Spoons
  • Parchment paper
  • Sharp knife for slicing Snickers bars

Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 ½ cups granulated sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¾ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • 4–5 Snickers bars, chopped

Optional toppings:

  • ½ cup chocolate chips
  • ¼ cup caramel sauce
  • 2 tablespoons chopped peanuts

Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Oven and Pan

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking pan with parchment paper, leaving an overhang to easily lift out the brownies later.

Step 2: Make the Brownie Batter

  • In a large bowl, whisk together the melted butter and sugar until smooth. Add the eggs and vanilla extract, mixing until the batter becomes glossy.
Stir in cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder. Mix until just combined.

Step 3: Spread the First Layer

  • Spread half of the brownie batter evenly into the prepared baking pan.

Step 4: Add Snickers

  • Scatter the chopped Snickers pieces evenly over the brownie base. If desired, drizzle a small amount of caramel sauce over the candy layer.

Step 5: Add Remaining Batter

  • Carefully spread the remaining brownie batter over the Snickers layer.

Step 6: Bake

  • Bake for 25–35 minutes, or until the edges are set and the center remains slightly soft.

Step 7: Cool and Slice

  • Allow brownies to cool completely in the pan before lifting them out and cutting into squares.
Optional: drizzle extra caramel or melted chocolate on top before serving.

Notes

• Chill Snickers bars before chopping to keep the pieces neat.
• Do not overbake — slightly underbaked brownies stay fudgy.
• Let brownies cool completely before slicing so the caramel sets.
• Use parchment paper to easily remove brownies from the pan.
• Store in an airtight container for 3–4 days at room temperature.
• Brownies can be frozen for up to 3 months.
