Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb flank steak, thinly sliced against the grain
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce (divided)
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp fresh ginger, minced
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp sugar
  • ¼ cup water or beef broth

Instructions
 

  • Marinate beef with 1 tbsp soy sauce, cornstarch, sesame oil, and pepper (15 minutes).
  • Mix sauce: remaining soy sauce, oyster sauce, sugar, cornstarch slurry, broth.
  • Heat wok, sear beef until browned; remove.
  • Stir-fry onion, peppers, garlic, ginger.
  • Return beef, add sauce, toss until thickened.
  • Serve hot over rice or noodles.

  • For extra flavor, add mushrooms or broccoli.
  • Freeze for up to 2 months; reheat gently.
