Equipment

  • Blender or food processor
  • Pitcher
  • Measuring Cups and Spoons
  • Knife and cutting board
  • Optional: fine mesh sieve for smooth puree

Ingredients

  • 4–5 ripe peaches, peeled and pitted
  • 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (about 4–5 lemons)
  • ½–¾ cup sugar, honey, or agave syrup (adjust to taste)
  • 4–5 cups cold water (or 3 cups water + 1–2 cups sparkling water)
  • Ice cubes
  • Optional garnishes: peach slices, lemon wheels, fresh mint

Optional variations:

  • ½ cup mixed berries for peach-berry lemonade
  • 1–2 tsp grated ginger or ginger syrup for peach-ginger lemonade
  • Fresh mint leaves for peach-mint lemonade
  • Frozen peaches for slushies

Instructions

  • Prepare Peach Puree: Wash peaches, remove pits, and peel if desired. Blend until smooth. For textured lemonade, pulse lightly.
  • Juice Lemons & Sweetener: Squeeze lemons to extract juice. Mix with sugar, honey, or agave to create simple syrup.
  • Combine Ingredients: In a large pitcher, stir together peach puree, lemon juice, sweetener, and cold water. Adjust sweetness to taste.
  • Chill or Serve Over Ice: Refrigerate for 30 minutes or serve immediately over ice.
  • Optional Sparkling Version: Add sparkling water just before serving and stir gently.
  • Garnish & Serve: Float peach slices, lemon wheels, and mint in the pitcher or individual glasses.

Notes

  • Fruit Selection: Use ripe, fragrant peaches for maximum natural sweetness and flavor.
  • Sweetness Control: Adjust sugar or honey after mixing with water to avoid over-sweetening.
  • Storage: Keep in an airtight container in the refrigerator; best consumed within 2–3 days.
  • Flavor Enhancements: Add mint, basil, or ginger for a unique twist.
  • Frozen Slushies: Blend peach lemonade with ice cubes for a frosty summer treat.
