Equipment

  • Sharp knife & cutting board
  • Baking sheet (or skillet)
  • Parchment paper
  • Small bowl (for honey/nuts)

Ingredients

  • 1 package thinly sliced prosciutto (12–16 slices)
  • 1 round (5 oz) Boursin Garlic & Herb cheese
  • 2 tbsp honey (or fig jam)
  • ¼ cup toasted walnuts or pecans (optional)
  • Crackers or bread, for serving

Instructions

  • Chill Cheese: Refrigerate Boursin for 20 minutes to firm up.
  • Prepare Prosciutto: Lay slices flat on parchment paper.
  • Wrap Cheese: Cut Boursin into small portions. Wrap each piece tightly with prosciutto.
  • Cook:
Bake: Place on baking sheet at 375°F (190°C) for 8–10 minutes until crisp.
Pan-sear: Cook in nonstick skillet over medium heat until prosciutto crisps.
  • Finish: Drizzle with honey (or fig jam) and sprinkle with nuts.
  • Serve: Rest for 2 minutes, then serve warm with crackers or bread.

Notes

  • Use thin prosciutto slices for best crispiness.
  •  Chill cheese before wrapping for neat assembly.
  •  Add honey only after cooking to avoid burning.
  •  Vegetarian option: use roasted zucchini slices instead of prosciutto.
  •  Gluten-free serving: pair with cucumber slices instead of bread.
