Ingredients
  

  • 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
  • 16 asparagus spears, trimmed
  • 8 slices prosciutto
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
  • 2 tbsp grated parmesan (optional)
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Prep Asparagus: Wash and trim asparagus. Blanch briefly in boiling water if thick, then pat dry
  • Wrap with Prosciutto: Wrap 2 asparagus spears with 1 slice of prosciutto.
  • Cut Pastry: Slice puff pastry into 8 squares.
  • Assemble Bundles: Place wrapped asparagus on each square, fold pastry corners over, and press lightly to seal.
  • Brush with Egg Wash: Brush tops with beaten egg for golden color. Sprinkle parmesan if desired.
  • Bake: Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Bake for 18–20 minutes until pastry is puffed and golden.
  • Serve: Garnish with parsley and serve warm.
