Equipment

  • Sharp knife
  • Cutting board
  • Large mixing bowl
  • Citrus juicer (optional)
  • Serving spoon
  • Airtight container (for storage)

Ingredients

For the Salad:

  • 3 large ripe peaches (sliced or cubed)
  • 1 cup strawberries (sliced)
  • 1 cup blueberries
  • 1 cup green grapes (halved)
  • 1 kiwi (peeled and sliced)
  • 1 kiwi (peeled and sliced)
  • 1 banana (optional, sliced just before serving)
  • Fresh mint leaves (for garnish)

Honey-Lime Dressing (Optional):

  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon lime zest (optional)

Instructions

Prep the Fruit:

  • Rinse all fruit thoroughly. Peel peaches if desired, and slice into bite-sized pieces. Prepare other fruits accordingly—halve grapes, slice strawberries and kiwi, and peel/slice banana last to prevent browning.

Prevent Browning (Optional):

  • Toss peaches and banana in a little lime juice if not serving immediately.

Mix Gently:

  • In a chilled large bowl, combine all prepared fruit. Use a spatula or clean hands to toss lightly to avoid crushing delicate pieces.

Prepare Dressing (Optional):

  • In a small bowl, whisk together honey, lime juice, and zest. Adjust sweetness to taste.

Dress & Chill:

  • Drizzle dressing over fruit just before serving. Chill for 30 minutes if time allows to let flavors meld.

Serve:

  • Garnish with fresh mint and serve cold. Enjoy!

Notes

  • Peach Tips: Use ripe but firm peaches. Freestone varieties are easier to slice cleanly.
  • Make-Ahead: Chop firmer fruits a few hours ahead. Add soft fruits and dressing just before serving.
  • Dressing Options: For variation, try orange juice + mint, or Greek yogurt with vanilla + honey for a creamy version.
  • Grilled Variation: Grilled peaches pair beautifully with feta and balsamic for a savory twist.
  • Storage: Best enjoyed within 24 hours. Store in an airtight container in the fridge.
