Muffin Batter
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp baking soda
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- ½ cup unsalted butter, melted and slightly cooled
- ¾ cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup milk (whole or 2%)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 12 frozen Nutella teaspoons (see step 1 below)
Cinnamon Sugar Coating
- ⅓ cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- ¼ cup unsalted butter, melted (for brushing)
Step 1 – Freeze the Nutella
Step 2 – Preheat Oven & Prepare Tin
Step 3 – Make the Batter
In one bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon. In another bowl, whisk melted butter, sugar, eggs, milk, and vanilla. Gently fold dry into wet ingredients until just combined (do not overmix).
