Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • ½ cup melted butter
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 16 oz whipped topping (Cool Whip or homemade), divided
  • 2–3 ripe but firm bananas, sliced
  • 1 cup crushed pineapple, drained thoroughly
  • Chocolate syrup for garnish
  • ½ cup chopped nuts (optional)
  • Maraschino cherries for topping

Instructions
 

  • Make crust: Mix graham cracker crumbs with melted butter. Press firmly into bottom of baking dish. Chill 15 minutes.
  • Prepare filling: Beat cream cheese with powdered sugar until smooth. Fold in half of whipped topping. Spread over crust.
  • Add fruit: Layer sliced bananas and drained pineapple evenly over filling.
  • Top with whipped layer: Spread remaining whipped topping over fruit. Smooth with spatula.
  • Garnish: Drizzle chocolate syrup, sprinkle nuts, and add cherries.
  • Chill: Refrigerate at least 4 hours or overnight. Slice and serve cold.
