Ingredients
  

  • 6 cups Rice Krispies cereal
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • ½ cup creamy peanut butter
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1½ cups powdered sugar

Optional Add-ins:

  • 1 cup mini marshmallows
  • ½ cup crushed pretzels
  • ½ cup M&Ms or sprinkles

Substitutions:

  • Nutella or cookie butter instead of peanut butter
  • Dairy-free chocolate and vegan butter for plant-based version

Instructions
 

  • Melt the Coating Combine chocolate chips, peanut butter, and butter in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring each time, until smooth (about 1½ minutes total).
  • Add Vanilla Stir in vanilla extract.
  • Coat the Cereal Place Rice Krispies in a large mixing bowl. Pour the melted mixture over the cereal and gently fold until evenly coated.
  • Toss with Powdered Sugar Transfer coated cereal to a zip-top bag or bowl. Add powdered sugar and shake or stir until fully coated.
  • Cool and Set Spread mixture on parchment paper and let cool for 15–20 minutes.
  • Serve or Store Enjoy immediately or store in an airtight container for up to 1 week.
