Ingredients
  

Dough

  • 1 lb pizza dough (homemade or store-bought)

Meat & Veggies

  • 1 lb thinly sliced ribeye or sirloin steak
  • 1 large onion, caramelized
  • 1 bell pepper, sautéed
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Cheese

  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella
  • ½ cup provolone (optional)

Seasonings

  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt & black pepper to taste

Toppings

  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds
  • 2 tbsp grated Parmesan

Instructions
 

  • Cook Steak & Veggies: Heat olive oil in skillet. Sear steak until browned. Remove. Sauté onions and peppers until tender.
  • Prepare Dough: Roll pizza dough into a large rectangle (~12x16 inches).
  • Layer Fillings: Spread steak, onions, peppers, and cheese evenly over dough. Sprinkle garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  • Roll & Seal: Roll tightly into a log from the long side. Pinch seams and tuck ends to seal.
  • Top & Bake: Place on baking sheet. Brush with egg wash, sprinkle sesame seeds and Parmesan. Bake at 400°F (200°C) for 25–30 minutes until golden.
  • Rest & Slice: Let stromboli rest 5–10 minutes before slicing into portions.

  • Make-Ahead: Assemble unbaked stromboli and refrigerate up to 24 hours.
  • Storage: Store baked slices in fridge for 3 days. Reheat in oven/air fryer for crispness.
