Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb ground chicken (preferably thigh)
  • ½ cup breadcrumbs (or oats for lighter option)
  • 1 small onion, finely grated
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tbsp fresh mint, chopped
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp cumin
  • 1 tbsp olive oil (plus more for cooking)
  • 1 egg
  • Salt & pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Mix Ingredients: In a large bowl, combine ground chicken, breadcrumbs, onion, garlic, herbs, spices, olive oil, and egg. Mix until just combined.
  • Chill Mixture: Cover and refrigerate for 20 minutes to firm up (optional but recommended).
  • Shape Patties: Divide mixture into equal portions and shape into patties.
  • Cook Patties:
    Pan-fry: Heat oil in skillet, cook patties 4–5 minutes per side until golden and cooked through.
    Grill: Place patties on preheated grill, cook 5–6 minutes per side.
    Bake: Arrange on baking sheet, bake at 375°F (190°C) for 20 minutes.
  • Serve: Enjoy hot with tzatziki, hummus, or a fresh salad.

Notes

  • Use ground chicken thigh for juicier patties.
  • Chill mixture before shaping for firmer patties.
  • Serve with pita bread, couscous, or roasted vegetables for a complete meal.
  • Store leftovers in fridge up to 3 days; reheat gently in skillet or oven.
