Ingredients
  

  • 4 boneless chicken breasts or thighs
  • 8 slices streaky or thick-cut bacon
  • ½ cup pure maple syrup
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil or butter
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Bake: Place in a 375°F (190°C) oven for 25–30 minutes, basting once with reserved glaze, until bacon is crisp and chicken reaches 165°F (74°C).
  • Rest and serve: Let rest 5 minutes, garnish with parsley or green onions, and serve hot.
