Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb (450g) ground beef (lean or regular)
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh ginger, grated
  • 3 green onions, sliced
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1 cup snap peas or sliced carrots
  • ½ cup mushrooms (optional)
  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • ¼ cup beef or vegetable broth
  • Optional: chili flakes, hoisin sauce, oyster sauce, rice vinegar

Instructions
 

  • Prep Ingredients Wash and slice vegetables. Mince garlic and grate ginger. In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, sesame oil, brown sugar, cornstarch, and broth.
  • Brown the Beef Heat 1 tbsp oil in a skillet over medium-high. Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it up. Drain excess fat and set aside.
  • Stir-Fry Vegetables Add remaining oil if needed. Sauté garlic, ginger, and green onions for 1 minute. Add vegetables and stir-fry for 4–5 minutes until crisp-tender.
  • Add Sauce and Beef Return beef to the pan. Pour in sauce and stir well. Simmer for 2–3 minutes until thickened and glossy.
  • Serve Spoon over rice, noodles, or lettuce wraps. Garnish with sesame seeds or scallions.
