Equipment

  • Skillet
  • Baking dish or sheet pan
  • Mixing bowls
  • Pastry brush
  • Oven

Ingredients

Filling

  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • ½ small onion (diced)
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar or mozzarella

Dough

  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan
  • 1 tbsp chopped parsley

Optional Add-ins

  • Pickles, bacon bits, jalapeños
  • Ketchup, mustard, or ranch for dipping

Instructions

  • Cook filling: In a skillet, brown beef with onion and garlic. Add Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Drain excess grease and let cool slightly.
  • Prepare dough: Flatten biscuit or pizza dough rounds into 4–5 inch circles.
  • Fill: Place 1–2 tbsp beef mixture and cheese in the center of each round.
  • Seal: Pinch edges tightly to enclose filling. Place seam-side down in a greased baking dish.
  • Top: Brush with melted butter mixed with garlic. Sprinkle Parmesan and parsley.
  • Bake: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Bake 15–20 minutes until golden brown.
  • Serve: Cool slightly and serve warm with dipping sauces.
  • Tip: Pinch dough edges tightly to prevent leaks during baking.

Notes

  • Make-ahead: Assemble bombs up to 24 hours ahead and refrigerate.
  • Storage: Keep leftovers in an airtight container for 3–4 days.
  • Reheating: Use oven or air fryer for best texture.
  • Freezing: Freeze unbaked bombs and bake straight from frozen (add 5–7 minutes).
  • Avoid mistakes: Don’t overfill, seal edges well, and roll dough thinner if using store-bought biscuits.
  • Variations: Try pepper jack or Swiss cheese, add mushrooms or caramelized onions, or make a Big Mac-style version with pickles and special sauce.
  • Nutrition: High in protein; customize with turkey, chicken, or plant-based meat for lighter options.
