- 1 lb ground chicken (or diced breast/thigh)
- 4–5 garlic cloves, smashed
- 2 shallots, sliced
- 4–6 Thai chilies, smashed (adjust to taste)
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp fish sauce
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tsp dark soy sauce
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 cup Thai holy basil leaves (or Thai sweet basil substitute)
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- Optional: fried egg topping, cucumber slices
Prepare Aromatics Smash garlic and chilies with mortar and pestle or chop finely. Slice shallots.
Cook Chicken Heat oil in wok over high heat. Add garlic, chilies, and shallots; stir-fry until fragrant. Add ground chicken, breaking it up, and cook until browned.
