Ingredients
  

  • 8 pork sausages (or beef/chicken/vegetarian alternatives)
  • 1 lb (450 g) potatoes, cut into chunks
  • 2 large onions, thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 2 cups beef stock
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tsp thyme
  • 1 tsp rosemary
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Prep Ingredients: Chop potatoes into chunks, slice onions, and preheat oven to 200°C (400°F).
  • Brown Sausages: Pan-fry sausages until golden on all sides.
  • Make Gravy: In the same skillet, cook onions until caramelized. Stir in flour, then slowly whisk in beef stock. Add Worcestershire sauce, butter, garlic, thyme, and rosemary. Simmer until thickened.
  • Assemble Bake: Place sausages and potatoes in a baking dish. Pour gravy over and toss gently.
  • Bake: Bake uncovered for 40–45 minutes until potatoes are tender and sausages are cooked through.
  • Serve: Garnish with fresh herbs and serve hot with peas, carrots, or crusty bread.
