Ingredients
  

  • 1 ½ lbs (680 g) ground beef (or beef/pork mix)
  • ¾ cup breadcrumbs (panko or regular)
  • 2 large eggs
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 small onion, finely diced
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • Glaze: ½ cup tomato sauce or garlic butter

Instructions
 

  • Mix Ingredients: In a large bowl, combine ground meat, breadcrumbs, eggs, garlic, parmesan, onion, parsley, oregano, salt, and pepper. Mix gently until just combined.
  • Shape Meatloaf: Transfer mixture to a loaf pan or shape free-form on a baking sheet. Press lightly to form an even loaf.
  • Prepare Glaze: Whisk tomato sauce or garlic butter. Brush generously over the top of the loaf.
  • Bake: Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 55–60 minutes, until internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C). Cover with foil if browning too quickly.
  • Rest & Serve: Let meatloaf rest for 10 minutes before slicing. Serve with mashed potatoes, roasted vegetables, or crusty bread.
