Instructions
 

  • Slice Onions: Peel onions and cut into ¼–½ inch rings. Separate layers and remove very thin inner rings.
  • Prepare Coating: Beat eggs in one bowl. In another bowl, mix almond flour, crushed pork rinds or parmesan, and seasonings.
  • Coat Rings: Dip each onion ring into egg wash, then press into crumb mixture. Repeat for double coating if desired.
  • Arrange: Place coated rings in a single layer on air fryer basket or rack-lined baking sheet. Lightly spray with oil.
  • Air Fryer Method: Cook at 375°F (190°C) for 8–10 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crispy.
  • Oven Method: Bake at 425°F (220°C) for 15–20 minutes on a rack, flipping halfway. Broil 1–2 minutes for extra crisp if needed.
  • Serve: Enjoy immediately with keto dipping sauces.
