Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups broccoli florets (steamed and finely chopped)
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (whole-grain or gluten-free)
  • 2 eggs (or flax eggs for vegan option)
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • Olive oil spray (for baking/air-frying)

Instructions
 

  • Prep broccoli: Steam or blanch broccoli until tender. Chop finely or pulse in food processor.
  • Mix ingredients: In a bowl, combine broccoli, cheddar, breadcrumbs, eggs, and seasonings. Mix until cohesive.
  • Shape poppers: Scoop mixture into small portions and roll into balls. Chill mixture for 20 minutes for firmness.
  • Cook:
    Bake: Place on parchment-lined sheet, spray lightly with oil, bake at 400°F (200°C) for 15–20 minutes.
    Air-fry: Arrange in basket, cook at 375°F (190°C) for 10–12 minutes, flipping halfway.
    Pan-fry: Heat oil in skillet, cook until golden on each side.
  • Cool & serve: Let rest for 5 minutes to crisp further. Serve warm with dipping sauces.
