Ingredients
  

  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 small head green cabbage, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • Pinch of nutmeg (optional)
  • Fresh parsley or red pepper flakes for garnish
  • (Optional) 8 oz cooked pasta (fettuccine or penne)

Instructions
 

  • Sauté Garlic: Melt butter in skillet over medium heat. Add garlic and cook until fragrant (1–2 minutes).
  • Cook Cabbage: Add sliced cabbage. Stir occasionally and cook slowly until tender, about 10–12 minutes.
  • Make Sauce: Pour in cream. Stir gently, then add Parmesan. Whisk until smooth and creamy. Season with salt, pepper, and nutmeg if desired.
  • Combine: Toss cabbage in sauce until coated. If using pasta, add cooked pasta and stir well.
  • Garnish & Serve: Top with parsley or red pepper flakes. Serve warm.
