- 1 medium onion, diced
- 2 celery stalks, diced
- 1 cup fresh or dried cranberries
- 1 apple, diced (optional)

- 2–3 cups chicken or vegetable broth
- ½ cup melted butter
- 1 tsp dried sage
- 1 tsp rosemary
- 1 tsp thyme
- Salt & pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley, for garnish
Toast Bread: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Toast bread cubes until golden and crisp.
Cook Sausage & Vegetables: In a skillet, brown sausage. Add onion and celery; sauté until softened.
Add Flavorings: Stir in cranberries, apple, nuts, and herbs. Cook briefly.
Combine: In a large bowl, toss bread cubes with sausage mixture. Add melted butter and broth gradually until bread is moist but not soggy.
Bake: Transfer to a greased baking dish. Cover with foil and bake at 375°F (190°C) for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake another 15 minutes for a crisp top.
Rest & Serve: Let stuffing rest 10 minutes before serving. Garnish with parsley.
