  • Prepare Coffee Mixture: Mix espresso with coffee liqueur (if using).
  • Dip Ladyfingers: Quickly dip each ladyfinger into coffee mixture—don’t soak.
  • Layer Dessert: Arrange dipped ladyfingers in dish, spread mascarpone cream over, repeat layers.
  • Chill: Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours (overnight preferred).
  • Dust & Serve: Sift cocoa powder on top before serving.
