Ingredients
  

Base Batter:

  • ¾ cup brown sugar

  • 1½ cups all-purpose flour (or almond/oat blend for gluten-free)
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ¼ cup milk (dairy or plant-based)

Cinnamon Swirl:

  • ¼ cup melted butter
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp ground cinnamon
  • Optional: ¼ cup chopped nuts or cinnamon chips

Glaze:

  • ½ cup powdered sugar
  • 1–2 tbsp milk or cream
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • Optional: cream cheese or maple syrup for variation

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line pan with parchment paper.
  • In a bowl, cream butter and brown sugar until fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla, mix well.
  • Stir in flour, baking powder, salt, and milk until smooth.
  • Spread batter evenly in pan.
  • Mix swirl ingredients in a separate bowl. Drop spoonfuls over batter and swirl gently with a knife.
  • Bake for 25–30 minutes until golden and set.
  • Cool for 15–20 minutes.
  • Whisk glaze ingredients and drizzle over slightly warm bars.
  • Slice and serve!
