Ingredients
  

  • 1 pie crust (homemade or store-bought)
  • 3–4 large eggs
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 cups whole milk or heavy cream
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp nutmeg (optional)
  • Whipped cream, powdered sugar, or cinnamon dust (for garnish)

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Prepare pie crust in a 9-inch dish. Blind bake for 10 minutes.
  • In a bowl, whisk together eggs, sugar, milk/cream, vanilla, cinnamon, and nutmeg until smooth.
  • Pour custard mixture into crust. Place dish on a baking sheet.
  • Bake for 40–45 minutes, until edges are set and center jiggles slightly.
  • Cool at room temperature for at least 1 hour before slicing.
  • Garnish with whipped cream, powdered sugar, or cinnamon dust.
