Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb flank steak or sirloin, thinly sliced against the grain
  • 3 cups fresh broccoli florets
  • 8 oz lo mein noodles (or spaghetti/rice noodles)
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil

Sauce:

  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp hoisin sauce
  • 1 tsp grated ginger
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp chili flakes (optional)

Garnishes: sesame seeds, sliced scallions, chili oil

Instructions
 

  • Marinate beef: Toss sliced beef with 1 tbsp soy sauce, 1 tsp cornstarch, and 1 tsp sesame oil. Rest 10–15 minutes.
  • Blanch broccoli: Boil broccoli for 1–2 minutes until bright green. Drain and set aside.
  • Cook noodles: Prepare noodles according to package instructions. Drain and toss lightly with sesame oil.
  • Make sauce: Whisk soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin, ginger, garlic, sesame oil, and chili flakes.
  • Stir-fry beef: Heat oil in wok. Cook beef 2–3 minutes until browned. Remove and set aside.
  • Combine: Add broccoli and noodles to wok. Pour in sauce, toss to coat. Return beef and stir until heated through.
  • Serve: Garnish with sesame seeds and scallions. Serve hot.
