Ingredients
  

  • 3 cups cooked shredded chicken (rotisserie or cooked breasts/thighs)
  • 2 cups Alfredo sauce (homemade or jarred)
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese (divided)
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 bag (32 oz) frozen tater tots
  • 1 cup optional add-ins (broccoli, spinach, mushrooms, or bacon)
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt & black pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9x13 casserole dish.
  • Prepare chicken mixture: In a large bowl, combine shredded chicken, Alfredo sauce, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, pepper, half the mozzarella, and Parmesan cheese. Stir well. Fold in any add-ins if using.
  • Assemble casserole: Spread chicken mixture evenly into the prepared dish. Sprinkle remaining mozzarella over the top.
  • Top with tots: Arrange frozen tater tots in a single layer over the cheese. For crispier results, pre-bake tots on a sheet pan for 10 minutes before layering.
  • Bake: Place in oven and bake uncovered for 35–40 minutes, until sauce is bubbly and tots are golden brown.
  • Rest & serve: Let casserole rest 5–10 minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
