Ingredients
  

  • 2 large chicken breasts or thighs, cut into strips

  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • ½ tsp chili flakes (optional)
  • 4 large flour tortillas (or whole wheat/low-carb wraps)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar or mozzarella cheese (or a mix)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Marinate the chicken: In a bowl, toss chicken strips with olive oil, garlic powder, smoked paprika, chili flakes, salt, pepper, and lemon juice. Let rest for at least 30 minutes.
  • Cook the chicken: Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add marinated chicken and cook 5–7 minutes until golden and cooked through. Remove from heat.
  • Prepare veggies and cheese: Wash and slice lettuce, tomato, bell pepper, and onion. Grate cheese if needed.
  • Warm tortillas: Heat tortillas in microwave or skillet until soft and pliable.
  • Assemble wraps: Spread your chosen sauce on each tortilla. Layer cooked chicken, cheese, and veggies on top.
  • Fold and roll: Fold the bottom edge up, then fold in the sides and roll tightly.
  • (Optional) Crisp the wrap: Place wrap seam-side down in skillet, press lightly, and cook 2–3 minutes until golden and cheese melts. Flip and crisp other side if desired.
  • Serve: Slice diagonally and enjoy immediately.

Notes

  • Marinating longer (up to 4 hours) enhances flavor and tenderness.
  • Adjust spice by adding more or less chili flakes or using spicy cheese.
  • To keep wraps from getting soggy, layer lettuce next to the tortilla as a moisture barrier.
