Ingredients
  

Pasta & Meat Layers:

  • 9 lasagna noodles (uncooked)
  • 1 lb ground beef (or plant-based alternative)
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 6–8 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled

Sauce & Cheese:

  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 cup heavy cream (optional)
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar or mozzarella cheese
  • 1 tbsp mustard or ketchup (optional, for burger flavor)

Optional Add-ins:

  • ½ cup chopped pickles or relish
  • Sautéed mushrooms, spinach, or peppers
  • Hot sauce or chili flakes for heat

Instructions
 

Preheat Oven:

  • Set to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.

Boil Noodles:

  • Cook lasagna noodles until al dente (firm to the bite). Drain and set aside.

Cook Beef:

  • In a skillet over medium heat, sauté onion and garlic until fragrant. Add ground beef, cook until browned. Season with salt, pepper, and optional mustard/ketchup. Set aside.

Make Parmesan-Garlic Sauce:

  • In a medium saucepan, melt butter. Stir in flour and cook for 1 minute. Whisk in milk and cream until thickened. Remove from heat, stir in Parmesan, and season with pepper.

Assemble Lasagna Layers:

  • In the baking dish, layer in this order:
    A bit of sauce
    Noodles
    Meat mixture
    Cheese (cheddar/mozzarella)
    Crumbled bacon
    Repeat until all layers are used. Top with remaining sauce and cheese.

Bake;

  • Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Uncover and broil 3–5 minutes until top is golden and bubbly.

Rest & Serve:

  • Let cool for 10 minutes before slicing. Garnish with extra bacon or fresh parsley if desired.
