- ½ cup caramel chips or 1 tsp caramel extract
- ¾ cup apple cinnamon muffin mix or dry apple cake mix
- ½ cup dried apple bits or apple chips (optional)
- ¼ cup powdered sugar (optional)
- ½ tsp ground cinnamon (optional)
- Pinch of sea salt (optional)
- ¼ cup chopped pecans (optional)
Melt coating: In a microwave-safe bowl, melt white chocolate chips or almond bark in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
Add caramel flavor: Stir in caramel chips or extract until fully blended.
Coat cereal: Place Chex cereal in a large bowl. Pour melted mixture over cereal and gently fold until evenly coated.
