Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb ground beef (lean or regular)
  • 4 cups shredded cabbage (green, savoy, or Napa)
  • 1 cup cooked rice or quinoa
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar or mozzarella
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire or soy sauce
  • 1 tsp paprika (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for sautéing

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a skillet, sauté onion and garlic in olive oil until soft. Add ground beef and cook until browned. Drain excess fat.
  • Stir in Worcestershire, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  • Steam or sauté cabbage until just tender.
  • In a baking dish, layer cooked rice, beef mixture, and cabbage. Top with shredded cheese.
  • Bake uncovered for 30–35 minutes until bubbly and golden.
  • Let rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
