Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb chicken tenders (or sliced breasts/thighs)
  • ½ cup brown sugar (light or dark)
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika (smoked optional)
  • ½ tsp chili powder
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • Optional: 8–10 strips of bacon
  • Optional: chopped parsley or scallions for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line baking sheet with parchment or foil.
  • In a bowl, mix brown sugar, garlic powder, paprika, chili powder, and black pepper.
  • Toss chicken in the mixture until evenly coated.
  • Wrap each tender in bacon if using, or place directly on baking sheet.
  • Bake for 20–30 minutes until golden and caramelized.
  • Halfway through, spoon glaze from pan over tenders for extra stickiness.
  • Let rest for 5 minutes before serving. Garnish if desired.

  • For extra heat, add cayenne or a dash of sriracha.
  • Maple syrup can replace brown sugar for a seasonal twist.
  • Air fryer option: cook at 375°F for 15–18 minutes.
