Instructions
 

  • Prepare Chocolate Base: Cut cooled chocolate cake or brownies into cubes.
  • Cherry Layer: Mix cherry pie filling with Kirsch (if using).
  • Whip Cream: Beat heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla until soft peaks form.
  • Assemble Layers:
    Place half of the cake cubes at the bottom of the trifle dish.
    Spoon half the cherries on top.
    Spread a layer of whipped cream.
    Repeat with remaining cake, cherries, and cream.
  • Finish & Garnish: Smooth the top with cream, sprinkle with chocolate curls, and decorate with festive extras if desired.
  • Chill: Cover and refrigerate for 2–4 hours before serving.
