Equipment

  • Skillet or non-stick pan
  • Spatula
  • Mixing bowl
  • Knife and cutting board
  • Spoon or squeeze bottle (for sauce)
  • Optional: Griddle or sandwich press

Ingredients

For the Wraps:

  • 1 lb ground beef (80/20 or lean)
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce (iceberg or romaine)
  • ¼ cup diced onion
  • ¼ cup sliced dill pickles
  • 4 slices American or cheddar cheese
  • 4 large flour tortillas (or low-carb wraps)

For the Big Mac Sauce:

  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp ketchup
  • 1 tbsp sweet pickle relish
  • 1 tsp yellow mustard
  • 1 tsp white vinegar
  • ¼ tsp garlic powder
  • ¼ tsp onion powder
  • Pinch of paprika

Optional Add-ins:

  • Sesame seeds
  • Shredded cheddar
  • Sliced jalapeños

Instructions

Cook the Beef:

  • In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef with salt, pepper, and onion powder. Break it up with a spatula until fully browned. Drain excess fat if necessary.

Make the Big Mac Sauce:

  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together mayo, ketchup, relish, mustard, vinegar, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika. Set aside or refrigerate.

Warm the Tortillas:

  • Heat tortillas in the microwave for 10–15 seconds or warm in a dry skillet to prevent tearing.

Assemble the Wraps:

  • Spread 1–2 tablespoons of sauce onto the center of each tortilla.
Layer with shredded lettuce, a slice of cheese, cooked beef, diced onions, and pickle slices.
    Roll tightly like a burrito.

Optional – Toast the Wraps:

  • For added crunch, place wrapped tortillas seam-side down on a hot dry skillet or sandwich press for 2–3 minutes per side until golden and crispy.

Serve:

  • Slice in half and enjoy warm! Serve with extra sauce on the side.

Notes

  • Low-Carb Option: Use large lettuce leaves or low-carb tortillas.
  • Make Ahead: Store beef, sauce, and toppings separately; assemble just before eating.
  • Vegetarian Swap: Use meatless crumbles or lentil-walnut taco filling.
  • Double Down: Add a second layer of beef and cheese for a deluxe version.
  • Sauce Storage: Big Mac sauce keeps for up to 5 days refrigerated.
  • Extra Tip: Sprinkle sesame seeds on the outside of the tortilla before toasting for that classic Big Mac touch!
