Ingredients

  • 8 slices deli ham (Black Forest, honey, or smoked)

For the Mustard Butter Glaze:

  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tbsp honey (optional)
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 tsp poppy seeds (optional topping)

Instructions
 

Step 1 – Preheat the Oven:

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Step 2 – Slice the Croissants:

  • Cut croissants horizontally in half without cutting all the way through.

Step 3 – Layer Ham & Cheese:

  • Place one slice of ham and one slice of cheese inside each croissant.

Step 4 – Prepare the Glaze:

  • In a small bowl, whisk together melted butter, Dijon mustard, honey (if using), garlic powder, onion powder, and salt.

Step 5 – Brush & Assemble:

  • Brush the tops of each croissant generously with the mustard butter glaze. Sprinkle with poppy seeds if desired.

Step 6 – Bake:

  • Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until cheese is melty and croissants are golden and crisp.

Step 7 – Serve Hot:

  • Remove from oven and serve warm with your favorite sides.
