Equipment

  • Baking dish
  • Mixing bowl
  • Knife + cutting board
  • Aluminum foil (optional for easy cleanup)
  • Oven

Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)
  • 1 package (5.2 oz) Boursin Garlic & Herb cheese
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 lemon (juice and zest)
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley or dill, chopped
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • Optional: breadcrumbs for topping

Instructions

  • Preheat Oven: Set oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Prepare Salmon: Place salmon fillets in a baking dish. Drizzle with olive oil, season with salt and pepper, and brush lightly with lemon juice.
  • Add Boursin: Spread a generous layer of Boursin cheese over each fillet.
  • Bake: Bake for 18–20 minutes, until salmon flakes easily with a fork and cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • Garnish: Sprinkle with lemon zest and fresh herbs before serving.

Notes

  • Cheese Tip: Let Boursin soften at room temperature for easier spreading.
  • Protein Swap: Chicken breasts or cod fillets can be used instead of salmon.
  • Lighter Option: Use reduced-fat Boursin or Greek yogurt mixed with garlic and herbs.
  • Pairings: Serve with roasted vegetables, rice, or mashed potatoes.
  • Storage: Refrigerate leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days. Reheat gently in the oven.
