Pepperoni and Mozzarella Pull Apart Bread Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 loaf of pre-made or homemade bread dough
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup sliced pepperoni
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional)
  • Marinara sauce for dipping (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare a baking dish by lightly greasing it with butter or lining it with parchment paper.
  3. Roll out the bread dough on a floured surface into a large rectangle, about 1/4 inch thick.
  4. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese evenly over the surface of the dough.
  5. Arrange the sliced pepperoni over the cheese.
  6. Carefully roll up the dough into a log, starting from one of the longer sides.
  7. Using a sharp knife, cut the log into 1-inch slices.
  8. Arrange the slices in the prepared baking dish, leaving a little space between each one.
  9. In a small bowl, mix together the melted butter and minced garlic. Brush this mixture over the top of the bread slices.
  10. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  11. Once done, remove from the oven and sprinkle with chopped fresh parsley if desired.
  12. Serve the pull-apart bread warm, with marinara sauce for dipping if you like.
