Ingredients:
- 1 loaf of pre-made or homemade bread dough
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup sliced pepperoni
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced (optional)
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional)
- Marinara sauce for dipping (optional)
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Prepare a baking dish by lightly greasing it with butter or lining it with parchment paper.
- Roll out the bread dough on a floured surface into a large rectangle, about 1/4 inch thick.
- Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese evenly over the surface of the dough.
- Arrange the sliced pepperoni over the cheese.
- Carefully roll up the dough into a log, starting from one of the longer sides.
- Using a sharp knife, cut the log into 1-inch slices.
- Arrange the slices in the prepared baking dish, leaving a little space between each one.
- In a small bowl, mix together the melted butter and minced garlic. Brush this mixture over the top of the bread slices.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Once done, remove from the oven and sprinkle with chopped fresh parsley if desired.
- Serve the pull-apart bread warm, with marinara sauce for dipping if you like.
