Baklawa with walnut

ingredients

  • To prepare the dough:
  • 800g (6 cups) flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 2g (half a teaspoon) of salt
  • 30 ml (4 tablespoons) of oil
  • 15 ml (2 tablespoons) vinegar
  • 250ml (1 cup) water
  • For a drink:
  • 300 ml (1 1/4 cups) water
  • 300g (1 12 cups) sugar
  • 50ml (1/5 cup) lemon juice
  • filling:
  • 300 grams of walnuts
  • 500g (2 cups) butter

Instruction

  1. Pour the flour, eggs, salt, oil, vinegar and water into a mixing bowl. Knead the dough and leave it for 15 minutes.
  2. Divided dough to 12 parts. Leave it to stand for 15 minutes.
  3. Rolling out dough with a rolling pin. Layer dough are placed in an oiled frying pan.
  4. Cover each layer with melted butter. When you have arranged half of the layers, sprinkle with the walnuts. Continue arranging the layers all the way to the end, then cut the cake into cubes. Bake at 360°F / 180°C for 60 minutes.
  5. Prepare syrup of sugar, water and lemon juice. Pour over cake, then serve.
