This Toblerone Cheesecake is a rich and creamy dessert that brings the delightful flavors of the iconic chocolate bar into a luscious cheesecake. Perfect for special occasions or as a sweet treat!

Ingredients:

For the Crust:

  • 1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs
  • ⅓ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 tablespoons sugar

For the Cheesecake Filling:

  • 16 oz (450g) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup Toblerone chocolate, chopped (plus extra for garnish)
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream

For the Topping (optional):

  • Whipped cream
  • Additional chopped Toblerone

Instructions:

1. Preheat the Oven:

  • Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C).

2. Prepare the Crust:

  • In a mixing bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, cocoa powder, melted butter, and sugar. Mix until well combined.
  • Press the mixture into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan to form an even layer. Use the back of a measuring cup to pack it down tightly.
  • Bake the crust in the preheated oven for about 10 minutes, then remove and let it cool slightly.

3. Prepare the Cheesecake Filling:

  • In a large mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese with an electric mixer until smooth and creamy.
  • Add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract, and continue mixing until fully combined.
  • Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  • Fold in the chopped Toblerone, sour cream, and heavy cream until smooth and well combined.

4. Bake the Cheesecake:

  • Pour the cheesecake filling over the cooled crust and smooth the top with a spatula.
  • Bake in the oven for about 45-55 minutes, or until the center is set but still slightly jiggly. The edges should be firm and the top should be lightly golden.

5. Cool and Chill:

  • Turn off the oven, crack the oven door, and let the cheesecake cool in the oven for about 1 hour. This helps prevent cracking.
  • Once cooled, refrigerate the cheesecake for at least 4 hours or overnight for the best results.

6. Serve:
