Ingredients
- 1 basic pizza dough
- Fillings of your choice (do not exceed 5 as it is just too much)
- Pizza blend shredded cheese
- 1 T. butter
- pinch of basil
- pinch of garlic powder
Instruction
- Prepare pizza dough, roll out into a 12″ circle.
- Place a layer of cheese on the lower half of dough then your topping and another layer of cheese.
- Fold top half over and seal the edges by pinching and rolling inward.
- Melt butter and stir in basil and garlic powder, brush over the top of the calzone.
- Using a knife, place a few slits across the top for steam to escape.
- Bake at 425 degrees for 15-12 minutes. Serve with a side of warm pizza sauce.
