Italian Beef Meatballs

Italian Beef Meatballs

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb ground beef (lean)
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, finely chopped
  • 1/2 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp dried basil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup olive oil (for cooking)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Mix Ingredients: In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, milk, egg, minced garlic, parsley, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper. Mix everything together gently until well combined.
  3. Form Meatballs: Take small portions of the mixture and roll them into meatballs, about 1 to 1.5 inches in diameter. Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Bake Meatballs: Bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes, or until the meatballs are cooked through and nicely browned on the outside.
