Ingredients
- 1 loaf baguette, ciabatta, sourdough, or pre-baked pizza dough
- 3–4 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 tbsp butter or olive oil
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup provolone or fontina (optional, for blend)
- ¼ tsp chili flakes (adjust to taste)
- ¼ cup honey (or hot honey)
- Optional toppings: caramelized onions, bacon, mushrooms, pepperoni, tofu
- Fresh herbs (parsley, basil) and grated Parmesan for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425–450°F (220–230°C).
- Slice bread evenly or prepare pizza dough; lightly toast or pre-bake for 3–5 minutes.
- Melt butter in a small pan, mix in garlic, and brush over bread.
- Sprinkle shredded cheese evenly over the bread.
- Add optional toppings as desired.
- Bake for 10–15 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly and edges are golden.
- Warm honey slightly and drizzle over baked pizza.
- Garnish with fresh herbs, chili flakes, or Parmesan. Serve immediately.
