Grape Juice Ice Cream

Grape Juice Ice Cream

This creamy, fruity Grape Juice Ice Cream is a unique, vibrant treat made with sweet grape juice, heavy cream, and a hint of vanilla. It’s like your favorite childhood grape popsicle, but richer and creamier — perfect for summer or whenever you crave something different and refreshing.

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups 100% grape juice (Concord grape juice works great)

  • 1 cup heavy cream

  • ¾ cup sweetened condensed milk

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • Pinch of salt

Instructions:

  1. Mix Ingredients:

    • In a mixing bowl, combine grape juice, heavy cream, sweetened condensed milk, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt.

    • Whisk until fully blended.

  2. Chill Mixture:

    • Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours until well chilled.

  3. Churn:

    • Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer’s instructions (usually 20-30 minutes), until thick and creamy.

  4. Freeze to Firm Up:

    • Transfer to a freezer-safe container, cover, and freeze for at least 4 hours or until scoopable.

  5. Serve:

    • Scoop and enjoy! Optional: drizzle with a little extra grape juice or top with fresh grapes for garnish.

No Ice Cream Maker Method:

  • Pour the blended mixture into a shallow dish.

  • Freeze, stirring every 30 minutes for about 3 hours to break up ice crystals, until creamy.
